That’s why we’re excited to announce that Katinka Weber has joined Priio as our first Senior Global Program Manager from her homebase in Germany. This key appointment comes at a critical time for Priio and Butchershop Creative™, Priio’s parent company, as we grow our product offering and user base within Europe and the DACH market. 

Weber knows what it takes to help teams achieve success, drawing from her background as a Senior Program and Community Manager at Plug and Play Austria, the world’s largest early stage investor, accelerator, and corporate innovation platform. Beyond her technical expertise, Weber matches her past experience with an unbridled passion for sharing Priio’s failure mindset far and wide. 

“I am honored to be a part of the Priio movement dedicated to beating failure,” said Weber.  “Priio is more than a powerful tool; it’s an important mindset shift with practical applications that extend far beyond the working world.” 

Weber is well-equipped to further expand the Priio audience in Europe, putting her multidisciplinary experiences in marketing, public relations, politics and economics to work. As for Priio’s methodology, Weber can recall points in her professional life where conducting a pre-mortem and gaining clarity would have made for smoother sailing. This insight is all the more fuel for building upon Priio’s existing use cases. 

“I think clarity is incredibly important when working with a team, no matter if you are working remotely or in a classic office environment,” said Weber. “Clarity really is the basis of success and happiness.” 

We all can benefit from more clarity in our lives. As Priio founder Trevor Hubbard often notes, “a lack of clarity breeds drama.” Weber has witnessed miscommunication create unnecessary distress firsthand, and wants to cultivate clarity in the modern working world, particularly noting a need within companies that are just getting started or rapidly scaling up. 

“The goal for startups is to become one of the largest companies in the world one day,” Weber said, “I would love to see these future companies scale with a healthier mindset.”
